Young plants project type 2
Problem definition
In order to control the delivery process, there was a requirement for a logistic solution to control the mechanization and operation activity of orders generated in a higher-level ERP system.
Solution
For this project, a sorting and delivery system has been implemented that includes scanning points for product identification, and a printing system for printing specific product and order information, including the destination location, on the sorting system. Feedback to the higher-level ERP system has been achieved so that products from a specific order can be identified (and registered) for tracking and tracing purposes.
The visualization of the logistic (sorting) process and the order handling (MES) is provided by ISAL.
Specific features
- Implementation of the ISA'95 standard between ISAL (MES) and the higher-level ERP system
- the generation of production plans
- the generation of master pick-up/picking lists
- the generation and visualizing of cart layouts/building
- providing a link to a cart building apparatus
- the display of KPI dashboards
