Problem definition

A registration system was required to control the automated container system to ensure it was possible to visualize the location of the batches and species.

Besides visualization, it was also necessary that watering could be managed on the basis of weight value and other time-dependent factors.

Solution

For this project, a completely new container system has been implemented consisting of several different loops. Independent operations can be planned and implemented for each individual loop.

Each loop has a weighing unit and watering location that is configured, based on species, to weigh and water the plant according to the configured parameters.
